ANOTHER PSALMS

THIS IS OUT OF ORDER, BUT I TYPED IT AND DIDN'T GET TO SEND IT ON THE INTERNET, SO NOW I CAN:

PSALMS 12-32

Today is Friday already and I'm getting excited about Sunday!  What a time we have each Sunday!  God has been so good to us.  Our church is growing right before our eyes.  Last Sunday, we had 81 more people in the Auditorium than just a few short months ago.  My, how God has blessed.  I'm in Psalms today, and here are some thoughts:

1) A LIFESTYLE EMBRACES A THEOLOGY

Your view of God is much based on how you chose to live.  You dictate who God is and what God will do based on your own view of life and desire to please yourself.  Now the Bible has a word of this person:  FOOL!  In Psalms 14:1 it reads:  "The FOOL hath said in his heart, There is no God.  They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good."  Because he chooses to do "abominable works" he chooses to believe there is no God, because God would have consequences for his actions, and he doesn't want that.  He is a FOOL, because to believe so, he must negate all truth around him that shouts out:  "There IS a God!"

2) MADE TO CLIMB- Life has many forms of opposition that mount up before us like mountain ranges we see in our country.  But the good news is that God made us to climb.  Psalms 18:33 reads:  "He maketh my feet like hinds' feet, and setteth me upon my high places."  God has made us to climb!  He has made our feet like the deer that run up and down the clifts.  Don't despair dear Christian, start climbing!

3) WAIT ON THE LORD- Psalms 27:14 says:  "Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart:  wait, I say, on the LORD."  When trials come that we have no answers for…. Wait on the LORD!  Now don't sit around and wait on God to come through; but wait on the LORD like a waiter looks to meet every need the client has.  Let us wait on the LORD to serve Him and He will strengthen our hearts in the midst of that kind of waiting.  Last night, I prayed with 11 people.  Three adults and eight children.  My heart was strengthen.  I still need over $100,000.00 before the year is over, but God strengthens my heart when I "wait" upon HIM!  Do the same dear brother and sister.  There is someone in need right now, go "wait" on them in Jesus stead!

Have a blessed day dear friend.  Pastor Mike Mutchler

PSALMS 33-52

It's Saturday, and I can almost "feel" Sunday coming!  Oh how I look forward to Sundays with God's people.  What a time we have and what a treat it is.  I enjoy being with God's people.  Well, I'm in Psalms.  I'm going to type a little and then go to our Saturday Men's of Destiny teaching, and prayer breakfast.  We always enjoy ourselves there.

1) GOD SPEAKS CREATION- Yes, the Bible is clear how everything came into being.  In Ps. 33:6 it says:  "By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth."  God spoke and creation came about..  The word "inspiration" means "the breath of God" or "God breathe".  So God breathed and creation came about; God breathed and the Word of God came about;  God breathed and man came about;  the breath of God is powerful!  Oh Dear Lord, breathe on me today, breathe on me!!

2) I'M SORRY LORD.  Every have to say that?  So many, many times I'm afraid.  But we learn this from God's Word.  We learn to say we are sorry when we disappoint God with our daily living.  In Psalms 38:18 it says:  For I will declare mine iniquity: I will be sorry for my sin."   2 Corinthians 7:10  "For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death."   There is a godly sorrow for sin.  We ought to posses it.  Learn to say:  "I'm sorry LORD!"

3) DEATH HAS NO FEAR WHEN WE ARE GUIDED THROUGH IT- In Psalms 48:14, it says:  "For this God is our God for ever and ever:  he will be our guide even unto death."  God is our guide in life, our guide in death, and our guide through death.  "Yea, though I walk through the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me."   Fear not child of God, He hold our hand, He is ever with us!

May God bless you today, and I hope you will be in Church tomorrow.  Dr. Mike Mutchler, Pastor
