HOW THE HEATHEN VIEW GOD

Today is Saturday.  We were to have a church wide picnic, but it has been raining and since it was forecasted, we called it off two days ago and will reschedule.  I am looking forward to the day.  I just spent a good while in the Word of God, and I've enjoyed it immensely.  The thought for today is:  HOW THE HEATHEN VIEW GOD.  In I Samuel chapter six, the Ark of the Covenant has been with the Philistines, and God has wrecked havoc in the land because they have His Ark.  Finally the Philistines talk together and say in chapter 6:6 "Wherefore then do ye harden your hearts, as the Egyptians and Pharaoh hardened their hearts?  when he wrought wonderfully among them, did they not let the people go, and they departed?"  They share among themselves the greatness of God!  Wow!  Oh that God's people would see how great our God truly is.  Let us praise our God more than any heathen ever has!
