REVELATION 7

I don't have much time this morning since I'm to be at a Men's Meeting in just about 13 minutes.  Let me share just a thought this morning from Revelation chapter seven.

PRAISING GOD TOGETHER- In chapter seven, we see those who were sealed from twelve tribes of Israel.  I don't know why the tribe of Dan is substituted for the tribe of Manasseh, but it is.  144,000 are sealed, 12,000 from each of the twelve tribes mentioned.  As a results of their efforts we see in verse nine this:  "After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;"  (vs. 10) And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb."   One of the blessings of visiting the mission field is hearing people sing in their native tongue praises to the LORD.  It is a moving experience.  I have heard people sing in many different languages as I've been to Guyana, South America, the Philippines, India, Africa, Mexico, and Peru.  It is so moving.  Last fall we had our English Church, Spanish Church and our Korean Church all join together for one choir special that was phenominal!  It made the hair on your neck stand up it was so moving!  Wow!!  Imagine in Heaven, all tribes, kindreds, and tongues praising God together..... let everything that hath breath praise the LORD!!!   Cannot wait until that blessed day!!  Even so.... Come Lord Jesus!!

Have a blessed day!   Pastor Mike Mutchler
