Reading this morning in Romans and started with chapter ten.  Yesterday I typed for so long and then it didn't even get posted.  It is always frustrating to work in one area of technology and realize you were raised in a generation with pencil and paper.  Let me share with you what I found:

1) CHRIST IS THE END OF THE LAW FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS- Yes, this is what Romans 10:4 tells us.  This means the law has nothing to do with saving us.  It had everything to do with showing us our need of Salvation.  The law condemned us because we break the law.  But, before we know we are lost, we are not interested in a Savior.  So, the law prepares us for Grace, and the Salvation that only Christ brings.  The law shows us that our righteousness is useless, and the Christ's righteousness is absolutely needed!  So, now that we are saved, is the law suspended?  God forbid!  The law now serves as guildelines for us to stay within (not for Salvation), but for Safety!  After all, the law was not given arbitrarily by God, it was given for our good.  But, we are not good, so we broke it.  Now, we are good, by Christ's Righteousness!  He is good and He lives in us!  But, if we would have a blessed life and a safe live, and a live with a testimony, we should use the law as guidelines to avoid what God's Word says to avoid and to apprehend what God's Word says to do.  Let us do so with the right understanding!  It is not for Salvation,..... but for our good that we strive (with failures) to keep the laws of God that pertain to us as believers (not as Jews).  This is the short (long) explanation.

.... vs. 9 "That if thou shalt confess with they mouth the LORD Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."   Is it really that easy??   Whatever you think.... God thinks it is just this easy!!  So, what if you don't live a dedicated life?  You can still be saved, but not enjoying the privileges of the Christian life!  Again it says "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."  How clear can you get?  Christ is the end of the law for Righteousness..... so if you trust in Christ..... you have the rightousness that only He can give you!  CALL today!!  and encourage all around you to call out to Christ for Salvation.  He is have a sale on Salvation today.... IT'S FREE!!!   Pick it up today.... it sticks for all eternity!!

Well, I've got to go to a Men's Meeting to share with them some.  May God bless you today.  Pastor Mike Mutchler
