REVELATION

Today is the last day to read the Bible through.  I finished the ten last chapters of Revelation and now get to write down a few thoughts.  Here they are:

1) BLESSED DAY-In Revelation 11:15, it says:  "...The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our LORD, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever."  Wow!!  Looking forward to that day.  I really am.  How about you?

2) WHAT A CONTRAST- In Revelation 14, we see such a vast contrast between the future of the wicked and the future of the saved.  Notice them with me:  vs. 9-And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, (10) The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb."    NOW... the saved in verse 13- "And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the LORD from henceforth:  Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them."  The first are tormented forever and the other find rest and are happy for eternity.  I'm glad I'm in the happy crowd!!  Thank you Jesus!

3) PRAISE- After Babylon is destroyed in Revelation 18, we see that in chapter 19, there are times of praise:  vs. 1- "Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the LORD our God:";  vs. 4 "Amen; Alleluia.";  vs. 5  "Praise our God"; vs. 6 "Alleluia: for the LORD God omnipotent reigneth."  (Remember a song like that?)  We certainly will have many reasons to Praise God when we are in Heaven, and honestly, we have many reasons to Praise Him today!!  Thank you Jesus.  We praise Your Holy Name!

4) QUICKLY- I don't understand God's timetable, but let me tell you what Jesus said in Revelation 22, the last chapter of the Bible.  In verse 7- "Behold, I come quickly:  blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book."  verse 12- "And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be."  and verse 20- "He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly.  Amen.  Even so, come, Lord Jesus."  I do know that Jesus said that He is coming quickly!!

Hope you have a blessed day, and tomorrow, I will see you in Genesis!
