II Chronicles
Today is Friday, and I'm in II Chronicles. Here are a few thoughts: 1) SAVE THE CHILDREN- In II Chron. 22:12, Joash was "hid in the house of God six years;" This saved his life! We too must invest in the lives of children and see that God uses their lives like God used Joash. My generation who has already raised their children, must invest in the lives of other children we did not raise. Pray about how God could use you. 2) HERE IS THE KEY- In II Chron. 26:5, it states of Uzziah: "and as long as he sought the LORD, God made him to prosper." The key to being blessed of God is to seek His face and then our prosperity is in God's hands, not ours! Seek the LORD today, and let God bless accordingly. 3) HUMILITY MOVES GOD- Manasseh was very evil, but when God judged him, he humbled himself. In verse 12 of II Chron. 33, it says: "And when he was in affliction, he besought the LORD his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers." He was wicked, and yet, when he humbled himself, God started working in his life. Humility gets God's attention. Humble yourself before God! Well, got to go for now. Have a blessed day!
