ISAIAH

I'm reading this morning in Isaiah.  Here are a few thougts:

1) THAT'S SATAN?- In Isaiah 14:16,17 people are going to look at him and say "Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; tht opened not the house of his prisoners?"  The idea is that people will think he is so powerful but when they look at him, they will not believe their eyes.... he will be so small and powerless!!  ONE DAY!!

2) EVERLASTING STRENGTH - Isaiah 26:4 says "in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength."  I'm glad that we have the Lord to look to for strength.  God is so great and wonderful.  Look to Him for strength today and you will find it.

3) GROWTH IS SLOW- Isaiah 28:10 says precept must be upon precept, line upon line, here a little, and there a little.  This is the process of growth.  Small measures slowly build into a great Christian.  Keep growing with Christ.  Let God work in your heart today and build you slowly.

4) A LIBERAL- Isaiah 32:8 says: "But the liberal deviseth liberal things; and by liberal things shall he stand."  Most Christians are conservatives because Christ taught us conservative principles in His Word.  To conserve means to stick with what you have been taught from God's Word.  Liberalism looks to other sources for "knowledge" and whined up so mixed up and lost because of it.  Let's stick with the Old Book!

Well, that's all for today, just a few thoughts from todays reading.  Have a blessed day!
