WE ARE THE PROBLEM
Today is Sunday. It is overcast outside, but I am extremely hopeful of a wonderful day in the Lord. We have enjoyed so many great services where God's people were of one accord, and God's Spirit was present in the services. Today, I'm expecting God to meet with us and decisions to be made for Christ Jesus. Here is a truth for today:
WE ARE THE PROBLEM- When we think God is not answering our prayers, often it is because we are the problem. Our sins have caused a gap in fellowship. Not relationship, but the sweet fellowship that God wants to have with us is obstructed. The pipeline of blessing has been clogged, and it is our sins that have clogged it! We are our own worst enemy! The Bible says in Isaiah 59:1-2 "Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: 2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear." What is the answer? Well we should confess our sins to our Savior. Again, not for Salvation, but for sweet fellowship to be restored!
Hope this helps someone. Have a blessed day! Pastor Mike Mutchler
