I John, II John, III John, and Jude

I have to leave for the airport early, so I'm writing some things down the day before I leave.  Here are just a few thoughts for today: 1) KNOW- In I John, the word "know" is mentioned 27 times; and "knoweth" 6 times.  It seems like God doesn't want His children in the dark, He wants us to "know" some things.  Like know we are born of God.  Like know we are saved!  I hope you know you are saved!! 2) THEY GROW!  I John 5:21- "Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen."  Idols have a way of starting small and growing.... stay away from them!  Lord, don't let me have any idols in my heart, keep me from the little ones so I never have to deal with the larger ones.  3) AN ANTICHRIST- II John verse 7 says that anyone is a "deceiver and an antichrist" who does not confess that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh.  Jesus came in the flesh, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on a cross, and rose from the grave triumphant!!  He was in the flesh.  I John 1:1 says: "we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;"  He was in the flesh!!
