John & Acts

I started this beautiful Sunday morning in John 13, and I had several passages in that one chapter I wanted to share and then had nineteen more to go!  I want to share more but I would be typing all day, and you don't have that much time to read a blog as well.  Here are just a very few since I'm running late this morning.

1)John 13:1 -- He loved to the End.  "He loved them unto the end" it says.  He also said:  "Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the END of the world."  He loves us until the end, and the end is when we are with Him for all eternity being loved of Him and loving Him.  Wow, what a thought!!

2) How to be happy:  John 13:17 "If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them."  Obedience brings the joy and blessing!  We are happy not by knowing God's truths, but by doing them.  We can be happy, but the choice is ours!!

3) John 15:26 "the Comforter is come"  The Holy Spirit is the Comforter sent by Christ into the lives of believers upon their Salvation.  What a joy to have the precious Holy Spirit live within us and what a greater joy to follow His leadership in our lives.  We all fail, but how we ought to seek His leadership, guidence, direction, everyday of our lives.  Oh Holy Spirit, use us today to bring glory and honor to Jesus Christ, and be an influence for Christ in all that we do today.  Let us be yielded to you and sensitive to your control of our lives.  Amen!

4) John 18:38 "I find in him no fault at all."  John 19:4 "I find no fault in him"  John 19:6 "I find no fault in him."  In some of the gospel accounts it will mention this FIVE times... no one found any fault in Christ, they just Crucified Him anyway!!  The real reason was our sins needed to be paid for so He went willingly to the cross for us.  Wonderful!!  Praise God!

**I'm just getting started but I'm late for Church.  I like to get there early!  Have a blessed Sunday and worship God today.  Pastor Mike Mutchler
