PSALMS 33-53

The only problem I have in Psalms is that I want to write the whole blog from the truths found in one chapter and I have twenty chapters I cover each day.  So, there is no way to point out all of the thoughts that come to me as I read these chapters.  For instance:  Here are a few thoughts I saw in the very first chapter, chapter 33.

1) INSPIRATION- In verse 6, God's Word says: "By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth."  God spoke!  We know the Bible says of creation: "And God said"; and when we see man created it says: "and breath into his nostrils the breath of life."  The word for breath here means "spirit".  God breathed spirit into man.  Remember what Jesus said about the Words that He had given:  "they are spirit and they are life."  We knew God breathed upon man and he became spirit, but we fail to see that God breathed out the rest of creation as well.  The word "Inspiration" means: "God breathed".  So we see that creation was inspired by God and man was inspired by God and His Word was inspired by God.  All of these came by the breath of God.  God breathes and things happen!!  (And notice this: Once God breathes something into existence, it stays that way by the power of His word!)  So we can have confidence from a biblical perspective that this world is going to last until God is finished with it.  (man is NOT going to destroy it prematurely!)  No more that man can destroy God's Word (though man has tried).  And the human race will continue until God is through with us and the time come for us to spend eternity with Him.  In line with this thought is verse 11: "The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations."  So once God has given His counsel...His thoughts..... they will last because they are inspired!  Inspiration lasts forever!!
Now, when God's Words are spirit and life, it means they are that which feed our souls.  We became a living soul when God breath in man's nostrils the breath of life.  And since God breathed the Word of God... it became the food for that which He created with His breath.... man!  We were made spirit, and we feed spirit, by God's Word.  "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeded out of the mouth of God."  Now, let me add this:  The reason I use the King James Version of the Bible is that it came from the Textus Receptus manuscripts, which 95% of all manuscripts in existence agree with it.  The modern translations are based upon a 3% minority that come from two sources that disagree with themselves over 3,000 in the Gospels alone!  (So I believe if you want to feed your soul with Inspired food, you need the full strength Word of God!)  Modern translations not only change the words, but the meaning of passages as well.  Now, I throw that in to help you see that IF God INSPIRED His Word (which He did!) then it does not change!  (I am the LORD thy God, I change not.)  Could it be... that we have "watered down" Christians because we have "watered down" God's Word in modern translations?  Why so many translations you ask?  Well, each one is copy writed.  It is all about money!  The King James is the only one you can start printing and not be sued.  It is available for all without cost to duplicate.  The largest Bible printing organizations are own by secular companies like Rupert Murdock who also publish and distribute more pornography than any other source!  (Where you getting your Bible from?)
Hey.... you see my problem?  I've only dealt with one or two verses from one chapter and already my time is gone.  Read God's Word today... love on it... it is spirit and it is life!!
