ON BEING DIFFERENT

Today is Sunday!  I love Sundays!  I'm looking forward to being with God's people and sharing God's Word.  I'm excited about spending the day with people I love.  It will be a great blessing.  I hope you have a great Sunday as well.  I'm in Leviticus and here is a thought to share:

ON BEING DIFFERENT-   In Leviticus 10:10, it states:  "And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean;"  God wants a difference!  You will find this phrase "difference between holy and unholy" mention many times throughout the Old Testament.  The principle we can find many places in the New Testament.  Every statue that He gave to the Israelites, He gave to have them live different from all of the others around them.  God wants the same for us today.  He calls us to be a separated people.  A unique people.  He wants us to walk different, talk different, act different, dress different, etc.  Now why?  He wants to easily see His children.  He wants a lost world to see that His people are special.  Now, the world doesn't appreciate the difference, but God does.  This Old Testament principle is timeless.  We should not be trendy, we should be timeless.

Hope this helps!  Have a blessed day!  Pastor Mike Mutchler
