PSALMS 126

A lovely morning, and a Men's meeting in just a little while.  I started reading Psalms today in chapter 126, so I am going to write on thoughts I got out of that chapter.  Here they are:

1) LIKE A DREAM- When God comes through in a Big, Unexpected way, it is like a dream come true!  This is what is said in Ps. 126:1.  "When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream."  It was a dream come true.  Have you ever felt this way?  I have had so many times that God came through is such a marvelous way that it was like I was in a dream.  Every Christians needs to see God come through in a great way.  Attempt great things for God; Expect great things from God.  Live your life, looking for the great things and when they come about, you will think:  "I must be dreaming!"
2) FOR THEM OR FOR US- In verses 2 and 3, we see the difference between what the heathen say and what God's people say.  The heathen say;  "The LORD hath done great things for them."  and God's people say: "The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad."  Now, do you want to talk about these great things, or experience them?  I for one want to experience them.  I want to see the great things that God can and will do.  I too can say:  "The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad."  Praise God!
3) SOWING AND REAPING- In verses 5 and 6, God's Word talks about sowing and reaping. If you sow the seed with tears the sheaves will be produced.  Do we share the Gospel with emotion (tears) or just mechanical.  Mechanical will not get the job done.... the burdened heart sharing the love of Christ will always be productive.  Please LORD, don't ever let us serve you with a mechanical spirit.... keep our hearts open and tender to Your Spirit and Word.
May God bless you... I have included some photos I took this morning of Mt. Hood, The Truck Tract, and a few of the men at our Men's Meeting this morning.... we had a time!
