TRAVELING BACK TO PORTLAND

Today, I am traveling back to Portland from Plattsmouth, Nebraska.  I have been preaching at the First Baptist Church of Plattsmouth with Pastor Raymond Wicks.  It has been hard to be away from my people, but I came to help them raise funds for a building banquet called:  "I Can See It".  I first helped put this together seven years ago when I came to help them raise funds.  Last night at the banquet, the raised almost a quarter of a million dollars in cash and pledges to come in this next year.  It was an amazing victory for the church and I'm glad to be a small part of it.  Now, I'm waiting in the lobby of the hotel for a ride to the airport.  I'm looking forward to Oregon.... there is no place like home.  See you tomorrow!  Have a blessed day dear friend.   Pastor Mike Mutchler
