REVELATION

Today is SUNDAY!!  I love Sundays!  I'm so looking forward to preaching and teaching today.  I'm looking forward to standing in the parking lot and greeting people as they drive up.  I'm praying that God will bless with an unusual day.

Today, I finished up the book of Revelation.   Tomorrow, I will start to read the Bible for the second time this year.  Every two months and I can go through the Bible at 20 chapters a day.  It is a lot to read, but it gives me insights and a knowledge of God's Word as a whole and not just as an isolated truth.  As I write about things that strike my attention each day, I hope that it gives you some insights as well.  Here are a few for today:

1) OUT OF TIME!  Revelation 10:1-2  "And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:  2  And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,"  Revelation 10:5-6  "And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,  6  And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:"
**Here the Angel is saying that people are out of time!  There is no more time to be saved; no more time to repent; no more time to get right with God.  It is done!  It is finished!  Now, only the judgments can fall upon those who ran out of time and never took time for Jesus Christ.
While we still have time.... take time for Jesus.  Don't get too busy so that you don't have time for Jesus; don't have time for Church; don't have time to serve Christ; remember, one day.... everyone is out of time!!

2) IF YOU DO- We know that if people don't take the mark of the beast, then they will do a martyr's death; but what if they do take the mark?  Revelation 14:9-10  "And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,  10  The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:"   Wow!  It would be far better to trust Christ and die a martyr's death!  Don't worry dear Christian... we are already with Jesus since the Rapture of the Church takes place before these events.

3) US!  Revelation 17:14  "These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful."   Yes, it is us with the Lamb!  It is us with the Lord of lords, and King of kings.  It is us that are:  Called, Chosen, and Faithful!!   Praise be to God!!

4) CHRIST'S LAST WORDS-  The last words of our Savior is found in the last chapter of the last book of the Bible.  Written down in 95AD by the last surviving Apostle, John.  In the next to the last verse of the chapter, Jesus says:  "Surely I come quickly."  Brethren.... I'm taking Him at His Word!!  Let's live like we are ready.... today, could be the day!!

Blessings upon you brothers and sisters.  Pastor Mike Mutchler
